St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Chili’s Grill & Bar® announced the kick-off of their fifth annual Create-A-Pepper to Fight Childhood Cancer campaign. Now through September 30, Chili’s restaurants around the country and, for the first time, in Puerto Rico, are marking National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month by inviting people to get creative and raise funds to help St. Jude find cures and save children with cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.

Guests at participating Chili’s restaurants can contribute to St. Jude in multiple ways:

Make a donation to St. Jude and receive a Create-A-Pepper chili pepper coloring sheet designed for display at restaurants during the month.

Purchase Create-A-Pepper T-shirts that can be customized with permanent marker.
*
Buy a customized Create-A-Pepper key that can be cut for use at home or the office.
*
Eat at Chili’s on Monday, Sept. 29, when Chili’s will donate 100 percent of profits from participating restaurant sales to St. Jude.
*
Visit www.createapepper.com and to make an online donation.

To date, Chili’s has raised $18.7 million as part of a $50 million commitment to St. Jude over a 10-year period. Once completed, the donation will be the largest donation from a single partner campaign in St. Jude’s history.

Now to the update..last night my 2yr slept in his big boy bed for the first time!! I t was oh so hard to keep him in there but we made it..he played a lil bit (mommy put a baby gate up to keep him in) and then around 2:30am he crawled into his big boy bed & went to sleep!! im so proud!! i hope tonight wont be so hard to get him to sleep but we will see! If you have any suggestions i would love to hear them!!

Today is the third anniversary of Hurricane Katrina…is doesn’t feel like its been three years to me….i was looking stuff up online & saw this site that woman is awesome!! she had her site way before the storm but just before & after people contacted her about her site looking for information & such & she changed her site up & soooo much more to help those people find their loved ones & reconnect..go here & read her letter if you were effected by the storm i think you will find her to be such a wonderful person for doing what she did…
